Look at this desk. What do you see? I see an unorganized, messy space. I could give you the task "Find my old gameboy," and it could take you a while. Math can be be the same. If we don't organize our problems, how can we find mistakes?
Ok, so... how should we organize our papers?
Easy. Start with the starting question or problem. Write it out entirely. Note that you will be coming back to it, so don't use it to start solving. Now that we have our problem, do we have any formulas we need to use? Any we could potentially use? If yes, then write them out, below the problem and spaced nicely (Not all squished. Squished and awkward numbers flying everywhere is confusing and hard for the eye to follow) Keep everything in its own line. Step 1 goes on top, working with that step 2 goes below. NEVER use the space around a step, or separate it, so you don't get confused. Use separate colours if needed, to help differeniate steps, answers, formulas, etc. Keep everything neat!
