Welcome!
This is my Mathematician's Habits Blog. Here I will be posting my class project based on each of these topics, or habits. Under each habit, a short description will be listed and then work involving that habit. Have a look around.
What are these Habits?
Short Description of each Habit:
Create a rule:
Establish a procedure or make an equation and follow it.
Be systematic and organized:
Keep notes and work organized and have a system to your problems.
Conjecture & test:
Guess a theory and test it.
Solve simpler or related problems:
Look for the easier way to do solutions by finding easier problems, then working on the harder ones.
Justify and support:
Provide evidence and proof. Show all work.
Look for patterns and regularity:
Find patterns.
Be confident and persistent:
Don't give up on a problem you're having a hard time on
Experiment and play:
Try different solutions or equations to the answer. Find simple ways of doing it.

As shown here, I define my strengths as organization and looking for patterns. I'd say I'm also good at justifying my work and solving simpler and similar problems. I'd like to improve on testing problems and experimenting with problems.
